Welcome

Welcome! I guess you're the one trying to categorize my many photos on Commons? I saw quite a lot finish organ photos by you. I'm about to make a little break but I'm sure others will help you here - hoping of entries from you here of course. Greetings, --MartinH (Diskussion) 15:47, 21. Feb. 2024 (UTC)

MartinH - thank you, I hope I am not disturbing and making mistakes too much. I would like to add some missing organs in Finland (e.g. Talvisalo Chapel, Savonlinna), but I am afraid it is too complicated for me, not being an organist. --SaimaaSimon (Diskussion) 12:23, 25. Feb. 2024 (UTC)
No problem, please let us know if you need help, you can also email me (or ask here on the Discussion page). Best, Stefan--FluteCeleste (Diskussion) 13:33, 25. Feb. 2024 (UTC)
I felt encouraged and did the Talvisalo organ Savonlinna/Talvisalo, Friedhofskapelle. For the time being, entering the info about the register was too complicated for me. Also I could nor figure out how to enter in the categories 'Orgelbauer' who are after G in the alphabet (i.e. Heinrich). I don't mind if someone carries on. Thanks. --SaimaaSimon (Diskussion) 13:40, 25. Feb. 2024 (UTC)

Workaround if no organbuilder categories are displayed

Here is a workaround: First, go to the mobile display mode by clicking on "Mobile Absicht" such that the page looks like this. Then go on "Kategorien" at the bottom and the on "Zu Kategorien Hinzufügen"(=add to category). Now, the page should look like this. If you now enter the first 2-3 letters of the Organbuilder (eg. "Hei"), you get proposals which you can click on. Then click on "Speichern". Cheers, --FluteCeleste (Diskussion) 15:52, 25. Feb. 2024 (UTC)

An alternative way: If you know how the organbuilder category is named, you can simply type "[ [ Kategorie:Heinrich, Hans ] ]" (without the spaces between the brackets and the quotation marks, don't forget the comma) at the end.
